Hello there!
My name is Kelli Wofford. I am currently a senior at UNCW majoring in Film Studies. I am looking to get as much experience during my time here so I can gain as much knowledge about filmmaking so when I go out into the "real world" I will know want I want and how to achieve it.
Since I started at UNCW I have worked on multiple student productions. One production was titled "Bygone Barns", which I produced, and was submitted and screened at the 2016 Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, NC. It was my first short film screened at a known film festival.
Over the summer of 2016 I got the opportunity to be a script supervisor on an independent film titled "The Rack Pack". It was my first real movie set with an established director. I learned most about filmmaking in those few months, I met some amazing people and gained my first IMDB credit from it.
Some other work I have done is a short film, "Who Lived on Time Avenue", with a group at the 24 hour Charlotte Film Festival, as well as being an extra on the TV show "Good Behavior" which was filmed at Screen Gems Studios in Wilmington.
On student productions, my main interest is producing. Being an organized person myself I find it enjoyable to manage many aspects of a film production such as scheduling and budgeting. I would like to know more about producing on bigger productions because I think it would be right up my alley.
I am looking forward to what my final semester at UNCW brings and the opportunities that come with it!
